Remembrance Day
Remembrance day happens on the 11Th month on the 11th day at the 11th hour. at the 11th hour we all stand in a moment of silence. at our school we usually hold a cerimony on the the 10th day because the 11th is no school. at the ceremony we start by singing oh Canada and then we have poems, sing the song in “Flanders fields” and some times watch a movie. remembrance day is important because we need to honor those people that died in the war and we need to keep the peace in the world. If we had another world war the effect would be devastating.

How francophone culture is the same and different than mine in Canada
I surveyed my friends so I could find out what was different and what was the same in francophone culture and Canadian culture these are my results.
Different Same
-
They wear different clothes. 1. We are both people.
-
They have a different language. 2. We both live in houses.
-
They have different food. 3. We both have nice cars.
-
They use different money. 4. We all breath the same air.
All though some of my results are quite bland I believe my survey worked.

Quebec city of light.
Today Ms.Lansdowne gave a bunch of books to us about Quebec and France. My book was called Quebec city of light. The book is pretty much a big picture book, “A big picture book !!” It has a bunch of really neat pictures like a picture through the church towers window in old Quebec (pg 158). The book is quite neat I really like it.
